Operating system support

setod mainly supports the real-time multitasking operating systems VxWorks®, QNX®, RTX, OS-9® and OnTime RTOS32. In addition to application programming and creation of Board Support Packages (BSP), setod also provides customer training and consulting for real-time applications. setod also supplies drivers, tools and applications for standard operating systems such as Windows® and Linux®.

CAN, CANopen, Tools

Layer 2 drivers for a wide range of operating systems are available for the comprehensive range of CAN interfaces. Optimal portability is achieved by using setod's universal NTCAN API, which is identical on all systems. Since the higher CAN protocols and the software tools are also based on this API, their use on the different platforms is also possible without any problems. The NTCAN API is included in the scope of delivery of the CAN modules.
The associated SDK (Software Development Kit) and the CAN tools for Windows and Linux are also supplied free of charge. Updates can be downloaded from the website.

EtherCAT
