No. On Pro and Business plans, we provide setup assistance to help configure your first practical automation. You describe what you want to improve; we handle the technical configuration.
What if I don't know what to automate?
That's fine. You can describe your current workflows and recurring challenges, and we can help evaluate which tasks are realistic candidates for automation.
Is Setod only for answering calls?
No. Calls are one application. Setod also supports workflows for email, scheduling, customer communications, information retrieval, follow-ups, and recurring operational tasks, depending on which tools you connect.
How much setup assistance is included?
Pro and Business plans each include one hour of setup assistance. Additional onboarding and consulting cost $75 USD per hour.
Can I manage the automations myself later?
Yes. Setod includes self-service tools for editing instructions, reviewing activity, and adjusting settings. Additional expert assistance is available if you want it.
Will AI take actions without my approval?
Actions depend on the permissions and approval settings configured for each agent. Selected tools can be set to require your approval before executing.
Does every automation work with every business system?
No. Feasibility depends on which connectors are supported and the specifics of the workflow. We discuss this during the setup conversation.
Can I keep my current phone number?
Yes. Forward your existing line to your Setod number, or connect your own Twilio number.
What happens to my data?

What if I use more than the included AI credit?
We warn you as it runs down. When it's used up, agents pause until the next renewal unless you top up or enable auto-recharge with a monthly cap you choose. Nothing is charged without your approval.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the billing page. If you have a Setod number, you get 30 days to move it elsewhere.
